The American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) is an association of professional safety

ASHI's mission is to continually improve safety and health education by promoting high standards for members, principles of
sound research for curriculum development, and the professional development of safety and health instructors worldwide.
ASHI is a member of the National First Aid Science Advisory Board, co-founded by the American Red Cross and American
Heart Association, Inc., and a participant in the International Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) 2005 International
Conference on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations,
hosted by the American Heart Association, Inc.
ASHI offers training and certification programs in emergency care and occupational safety and health for corporate America,
government agencies and emergency responders, and the general public.
